MOCCASIN SOCKS

I tried out the Moccasin Sock EZ described in Knitter's Almanac. I was half way through the first sock before I could figure out which end was up...typical EZ. Her puzzle-like creations certainly require that you just follow the directions and go along for the ride, confident that you will be pleased at the end. I used her numbers, 2 size 1 16" circular needles and Trekking XXL.

  • Thanks for such a clear photo of the construction! I've read the pattern several times and not been able to visualize it. :O) I think I will give it a go. I like the yarn you chose. :O) samm

  • Very nice. How do they fit? I've been wanting to try this pattern, too.

  • They hug the foot. The sole is knitted in a big circle and grafted down the middle to close...very different construction than I've ever run across.
